Camille Over The Rainbow

Majorly crushing on Camille from Camille Over The Rainbow at the moment. Her looks are always simple and understated, with a touch of androgyny. She has an effortless style, that inspires me to revamp my basics & dig out my leather shorts.

Here's a few of her recent looks from the past few weeks:

Glastonbury Woes

Year after year I have desperately wanted to go to Glastonbury and year after year something stops me! Whether it's because no one will go with me, they cancel it that year, I'm in NYC when the tickets come out, or as this year saw, I have to endure countless failed attempts to get tickets - for whatever reason, I just have no luck!! This year was harder than ever, I even avoiding all television coverage of the festival (it was my way of pretending it wasn't really happening), just so I didn't throw myself out the window. Okay, so I may be being a tad dramatic - but the thought of it all going on without me, once again, makes me want to sob into my non-existent sleeping bag. I couldn't however, resist having a peak at what everyone was wearing. What can I say? I'm a sucker for festival fashion. I'll admit, it made it all the more devastating, but inspiring nonetheless!

Oh well, there's always next year!

Saint Laurent

As somebody who was a bit apprehensive about the loss of the Yves Saint Laurent name, I have been pleasantly surprised that the brand's identity has remained strong in it's last few stunning collections. The 2014 Resort collection is bold, sexy, strong, and echoes the androgyny of the menswear collection shown beside it.  These images are stunning, and make me daydream about being the powerful (& rich) woman who could wear it all.

Alexander Wang

Alexander Wang knows how to do a Resort collection well. With just 16 looks to choose from, I nearly put them all in my favourites. Any collection that features a bit of luxe leather is fine by me, and this one has so many beautiful leather pieces that I'm smitten! The colour palette is typical Alexander Wang, with my favourite black, white & grey combination seen through out. There was however, a surprising touch of pink to the collection! A colour that definitely doesn't spring to mind when you think of Wang, and a colour I never favour for myself. Although, somehow, like the genius that he is, I've come away feeling all lovestruck for a pair of pink leather pleated trousers! Here's my favourites:
