First Class Honours

Just received my degree certificate in the post! It makes me so happy & proud to know that four years hard work really paid off. 

Whistles makes it so hard for me to want to save, when they bring out so many gorgeous things!

And I absolutely adore their new Limited Edition collection!!! Especially the stunning leather pieces that you can tell from just looking at the pictures, will be luxuriously soft, high-quality leather. 

Here's what Jane Shepherdson had to say about the collection:

"We decided to stretch our creative wings this year and allow ourselves the luxury of designing a small tightly edited collection of what we consider to be the most covetable pieces of the season, in the most luxurious and desirable fabrics, including butter soft leather, the softest cashmere, and silk crepe. When we had created it, we realised that we couldn't do without it, and it became our Limited Edition. It will only be available in a few places, and only a small number of each piece will be made, but it is the epitome of what Whistles is all about - effortless luxury."

So I realise it may only be August, but I'm far too excited for A/W, and you know I just can't resist a new coat/jacket. I think this is number 25..!

Decided to buy the new Topshop safari jacket after months of trying to track down the Zara one I could never get in my size, and it looks almost identical. Loving lots of green and leather at the moment!

There's only one thing that could excite me more than a new bag... buying a new winter coat! It's safe to say I'm slightly obsessed with all kinds of coats & jackets, I've lost count of how many I own and have completely run out of space to keep them. I have no doubt I'll be purchasing at least one more this A/W though. Here's a few of my faves...

So, I'm still feeling a bit over-excited about last night's olympic closing ceremony! Not being a lover of sport, I wasn't as excited as most were about the arrival of the olympics to London, but I've actually enjoyed the games a lot more than I thought and I'm definitely proud to be from our amazing country! Especially after last night's display of everything brilliantly-british. 

Also, in regard to some of the criticism surrounding the fashion section of the closing ceremony.. anyone who doesn't want to celebrate the talent, skills and uniqueness of British fashion, in my opinion, isn't worth knowing.

A girl can never have too many bags!

It's getting a bit ridiculous how many bags I want and/or I'm buying from Zara at the moment. They've just been getting it so right this year, and making it impossible for a bag-obsessed girl like myself to resist!

My longing for Paris got me thinking about my favourite places in the world, and New York City is just about the only place that could rival my love for Paris. I have been lucky enough to visit this amazing city three times, and every time I fell a little bit more in love with the place. I've always been a city girl, and to me, the New York skyline is more breathtaking than any beach, countryside or mountain top could ever be. There's nothing quite like the view from the top of the rock. New York takes your breath away, it may just be the love of my life. 

Of course I want to visit new places, but I'll never get bored of going back to my favourite cities: London, Paris & New York ♥

So upset these lovely peplum tops have disappeared from Topshop.com, I check the website every single day, and these were sold out the day they were put up. 

Please Topshop, get some back in!
